I recently had the honor to talk with Gavin Reese, author and podcast host of Writers on the Beat, about the second book in the Detective Sasha Frank Mystery Series titled “Cold Consequences.” Besides talking about “Cold Consequences,” we also discussed the book’s dedication to the heroes who saved my life after suffering sudden cardiac arrest in March 2019. We also had the chance to talk about the first book in the series, “Deliberate Duplicity,” that won the 2021 American Fiction Award for Police Procedurals.
